Nepal-Bhutan Tour Itinerary
Arrive in Kathmandu, where you’ll be greeted by our representative at the airport and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, rest for the day. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Wake up early for a beautiful sunrise view before breakfast. Enjoy a half-day tour of Kathmandu, including visits to Kathmandu Durbar Square, the Kumari Temple (the home of the Virgin Goddess), and Swayambhunath, offering panoramic views of the valley. In the afternoon, visit Patan, known for its arts and crafts, including the Krishna Temple and Patan Durbar. Overnight at the hotel.
Take the Everest Scenic Flight for a one-hour aerial view of Mount Everest and surrounding peaks. After the flight, visit Bhaktapur and then drive to Nagarkot, located at 2,229 meters. Enjoy the sunset over the Himalayan peaks. Wake up early the next day for a stunning sunrise view. Overnight in Nagarkot.
After sunrise, visit Patan to explore the famous Krishna Temple and Golden Gate. After the tour, fly to Pokhara (30 minutes). Upon arrival, take a taxi to the lakeside area and check-in to your hotel. Enjoy an evening by the serene Phewa Lake. Overnight at the hotel.
Visit Sarangkot for panoramic views of the mountains and the surrounding area. You can choose to hike to the top viewpoint. In the afternoon, take a relaxing boat ride on Phewa Lake or visit nearby attractions. You can also take an ultra-light flight to see Pokhara and the Himalayas from above. Overnight at the hotel.
Fly or drive back to Kathmandu. Take some time for last-minute shopping before preparing for the next day’s departure. Overnight at the hotel.
Fly from Kathmandu to Paro, Bhutan. The scenic flight offers stunning views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, visit a traditional Bhutanese farmhouse and explore Paro town. Overnight at the hotel.
Take a hike to the iconic Takshang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), perched on a cliff 900 meters above the valley. This monastery is believed to be the meditation site of Guru Rinpoche. The trail winds through pine forests and prayer flags, offering a spiritual experience. After visiting Taa Dzong (National Museum) and Rimpong Dzong, drive to Thimphu. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (3,050 m), where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks. Visit Chimmi Lhakhang, a fertility monastery, and Punakha Dzong, which sits between two rivers. After lunch, explore Khuru Township. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, continue sightseeing in Punakha and Wangdiphodrang. Visit Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten and Chhimi Lhakhang before driving back to Thimphu. Overnight at the hotel.
Full day sightseeing in Thimphu, including visits to Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Monastery, Zilukha Nunnery, and the National Library. Explore the Folk Heritage Museum and Zorig Chosum (painting school). After lunch at Bhutan Kitchen, continue sightseeing at the Handicraft Emporium and Bhutanese Handmade Paper Factory. In the evening, visit Tashichhodzong, the seat of Bhutan’s central government. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to Paro International Airport for your departure.
